Beginning Watercolor Class
For Adults in Boulder

Fridays 1- 4 p.m.  Studio classes start in October. Held in my studio in Boulder, Colorado.  Size is limited to 6 people. A year long commitment is requested.

This is a comprehensive watercolor class that goes year long. We start with outdoor painting and sketchbook painting. Then formal study classes start in my studio on October 16.

 Curriculum is based on the exercises in my upcoming watercolor book and follow a logical progression into understanding the basic nature of the medium. There will be many exercises and long term projects to enhance the skills learned in class.

$30.00 per session.

Students will not be signed up until and a check for half deposit of 35.00 is received and confir­mation of name in advance. The deposit is non refundable, unless the class is canceled for any reason, then deposits will be returned promptly.

This is a comprehensive oil and watercolor class that is designed to solve the mystery of paint­ing different types of trees. I have been asked by so many students to explain and demonstrate my approach to trees, that I thought a two day Summer workshop would be the best way. Students may sign up for both classes or take one as schedule permits. August 14 class will be held at the South end of Washington Park in Denver. Maps will be sup­plied. It will cover deciduous trees and city trees that you often see. August 21 will be held at Lair of the Bear Park off of Highway 285 near Morrison.
